About Visit South Zealand & Møn
Visit South Zealand & Møn is the official destination management organization (DMO) for the area and forms the strategic foundation for tourism development and promotion. The destination covers the municipalities of Faxe, Næstved, Stevns, and Vordingborg.
We work to attract visitors, strengthen the local tourism industry, and develop experiences that take into account nature, residents, and businesses.
Through collaboration, marketing, and development projects, the goal is to create tourism in balance, where great visitor experiences go hand in hand with local value.

Ownership distribution by municipalities:
Næstved (38%), Vordingborg (38%), Faxe (12%), and Stevns (12%).
Municipal contributions in 2025:
Næstved DKK 3,894,706.5, Vordingborg DKK 3,881,186.5, Faxe DKK 1,338,956, and Stevns DKK 1,338,956.
Purpose:
To service, develop, and market South Zealand and Møn as one unified destination under the name South Zealand & Møn with three overall goals:
- More commercial overnight stays
- Create an international brand
- Destination development under one brand
Primary markets:
Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands
Tourist information:
Visit South Zealand & Møn currently supports a high number of staffed tourist information points.
